--- description: File and directory organisation conventions alwaysApply: true --- # File Conventions - **Surrealist**: The main Surrealist screens are located in `src/screens/surrealist/`. - **Cloud**: SurrealDB Cloud specific operational functionality goes in `src/cloud/`. - **Hooks**: Shared hooks go in `src/hooks/`. - **Providers**: Global providers go in `src/providers/` including any associated hooks, components, and utilities. - **Components**: Place in `src/components/` with styles alongside (e.g. `src/components/MyComponent/index.tsx` + `style.module.scss`). - **Utilities**: Shared helpers, hooks, and API functions go in `src/util/`. - **Modals**: Modal components go in `src/modals/`. Avoid writing any `<Modal>` components directly, instead declare modals in here. - **Assets**: Static images, styles, and data files go in `src/assets/`. - Don't create new top-level directories, or directories within `src/` without discussing it first. - TypeScript files should always use the `*.tsx` extension.
