Console reference

Browse, search, and edit content in the selected folder. The tree mirrors the on-disk layout — click a folder to expand it, click a text file to open the real-time collaborative editor. Filter by free-text, context type, or status. Admins get New top-level folder, Upload, and Policy actions here. The @xxxx next to the switcher is the folder's current head commit.

Manage principals (people and agents), collect them into groups, and grant those groups or people access to a folder or a single file. People authenticate to MCP by signing in through the browser — no token involved; after their first login, grant them access here. Tokens are minted and revoked here too, but only for agents your application runs. A grant on a folder cascades to everything under it, so a support agent granted `public/` reads that and nothing else.

Mirror an external source like a GitHub repository into a folder, and it stays current on its own — tell us which connector you want next if we do not have yours. Secrets are encrypted at rest and never returned to the console; you see metadata and sync status only. Synced content lands live in the target folder, readable by the subjects you chose when you installed the source, and is read-only here because upstream owns it.

Every console and agent action is written to a hash-chained, tamper-evident log — reads, writes, promotions, token mints, policy changes. Filter by time, principal, or folder, and export a CSV or JSON trail for compliance. If a chunk was withheld from an agent by policy, that denial is recorded too.
