hideki5123/agent-skill-set/codex-server/SKILL.md
Run OpenAI Codex via the Codex App Server (JSON-RPC-over-stdio) for streaming multi-turn chat sessions with persistent threads, structured output, image input, and rich event streams. Default entry point for ChatGPT/GPT/Codex-like conversations from the terminal. Uses the user's ChatGPT subscription (Plus / Pro / Team) exclusively via `codex login` — never consumes OPENAI_API_KEY billing, by design. Implementation: TypeScript on deno with npm:@openai/codex-sdk; spawns the existing system codex binary. Decoupled async invocation: every turn returns turn-id in <1 s; the actual SDK work runs in a detached worker that streams to per-turn files under ~/.codex-server/turns/<turn-id>/ — Bash's 2-min timeout never applies. Prefer this over codex-cli for streaming UX, multi-turn dialogues that need live state, structured (JSON schema) output, attaching images, or programmatic event handling. Use codex-cli only for one-shot batch invocations that pre-capture to an -o file. For OpenAI Platform API calls specifically (embeddings, image generation, audio, moderation, batches, files) — not open-ended chat — use openai-cli instead; that path bills OPENAI_API_KEY, this one uses the ChatGPT subscription. Trigger patterns (match any variation): codex / codex-server / codex app server / codex app-server / openai / open ai / OpenAI / chatgpt / chat gpt / ChatGPT / GPT / ask gpt / chat with gpt / gpt session / codex session / streaming chat / multi-turn chat / multi turn chat / second opinion / cross-check / cross check / ai pair programming / another AI / external AI / ask another model / get GPT's take / what does openai think / show me what gpt thinks / structured output from gpt / json schema gpt / resume codex thread / continue codex conversation / continue codex session / /codex-server

xiayh0107/servers-connect/ssh-server-manager/SKILL.md
Connect to saved SSH servers and run remote commands through the bundled `serverctl` CLI, with passwords and keys held in the OS credential vault. Use whenever the user asks to SSH into, connect to, log in to, or run/check something on a server, names a saved host alias, or reports an SSH failure (中文触发:连接/登录服务器、新建/添加/登记服务器、SSH 主机、远程执行命令) — always reach for this BEFORE raw ssh. Replaces ssh/scp/sshpass for managed hosts: serverctl injects vault credentials itself (never ask the user for a password) and applies its managed config, sidestepping ~/.ssh/config gaps and VPN/proxy fake-IP DNS traps that make bare `ssh <alias>` fail. Also use it to transfer files to or from a managed host (上传/下载文件、传文件), to recall a host's saved working directories (常用目录、工作目录), to mount a remote directory locally with sshfs (挂载远程目录), to discover, register, attach, or resolve host-bound Agent Skills (主机专属 Skill、给 Host 绑定 Skill), and to add, import, list, edit, test, or diagnose connection profiles, ProxyJump hosts, and the local web management UI.
TarasShyn/skills/skills/mcp-directory-submission/SKILL.md
Publish a remote MCP server everywhere agents look for one - the official MCP registry (registry.modelcontextprotocol.io), Smithery, Glama connectors and servers, the Claude Connectors Directory and Claude plugin marketplace, ChatGPT apps, awesome-remote-mcp-servers and awesome-mcp-servers, Cursor and xAI marketplaces, and the paid mcp.so - with the public repo layout every directory expects, working scripts, the exact server.json, DNS domain proof, OAuth requirements, and the review gotchas from three production servers. Use this whenever the user wants to submit, publish, list, register, or get approved for an MCP server anywhere, mentions mcp-publisher, server.json, glama.json, Smithery, Glama, mcp.so, the Claude directory, ChatGPT apps, awesome-mcp-servers, MCP marketplaces or directories, or asks how people will discover their MCP server.

Use when the agent needs access to the outside world and it is unclear what is connected - "подключи mcp", "настрой доступы", "почему ты не видишь логи", "не видишь мою базу", "подключи vercel", "подключи supabase", "подключи stitch", "подключи drawio", "нарисуй схему", "нарисуй макет", "сделай дизайн экрана", "connect mcp", "set up mcp servers". Also use before deploying, before touching a database, before generating UI or screen mockups, and whenever a tool call fails with an authentication error rather than a code error.

jmazzahacks/byteforge-claude-skills/skills/mcp-server-nginx-gatekeeper/SKILL.md
Use this skill when the user asks to "add a new MCP server behind nginx", "wire an MCP into the mcp.<domain> vhost", "expose an MCP container with gatekeeper auth", or otherwise needs to put a Streamable-HTTP MCP server (FastMCP or low-level SDK) behind nginx with ByteForge Gatekeeper auth (`auth_request /auth`). Emits a shared `conf.d/snippets/mcp-location.conf` (proxy/auth/streaming headers all in one place) and either a single new `location /mcp-<name>` block (brownfield) or the full umbrella vhost from scratch (greenfield). Includes the `.well-known` OAuth-discovery bypass that forces MCP clients like Claude Code to fall back to bearer-token auth, the `/mcp-<name>` → `/mcp` rewrite trio that makes path-prefix routing survive Streamable-HTTP's absolute upstream endpoint, and the buffering/timeout settings that keep streaming connections alive.

Review the implementation source code of MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, clients, and tool handlers against a security baseline — authentication, sessions, rate limiting, input-schema validation, official-SDK usage, RCE vectors, and the OWASP MCP Top 10 — producing a report with file/line evidence. Use this skill when: - Reviewing an MCP server implementation for security before release - Checking a server against the baseline controls (MCP-01 to MCP-05) and the OWASP MCP Top 10 - Auditing tools for RCE vectors (command/code injection, unsafe deserialization, path traversal, SSTI, dependency hijacking, SSRF) - Verifying auth, session, rate-limiting, and input-validation controls on a network-exposed server - Reviewing MCP client code that handles untrusted server responses and session IDs - Requests like "review this MCP server for security" or "is my MCP server implementation secure?"

Plain text files in a repository that tell a coding agent how the project works: commands to run, conventions to follow and things to avoid. CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, cursor rules and skills are the common kinds.
CLAUDE.md is read by Claude Code. AGENTS.md is an open format that Codex, Cursor and other agents read. Many projects keep one and point the other at it.
A folder with a SKILL.md that describes one capability, such as filling PDFs or reviewing code. The agent loads it only when the task calls for it.
Your agents already can, over MCP, limited to the files you're allowed to read. Searching them from this page is coming.
