Write and review React/TypeScript tests for Sentry's frontend using Jest and React Testing Library. Use when adding or editing tests in static/ (*.spec.tsx), writing component/hook tests, mocking API responses with MockApiClient, testing routing or network requests, or when asked to "write a frontend test", "add a React test", "test this component", or "fix a flaky RTL test".
Remove a Sentry option or FlagPole feature flag whose rollout is finished, in the correct PR order across sentry, getsentry, and sentry-options-automator. Use when deleting an option from defaults.py, removing a flag from temporary.py, cleaning up a flag that reached 100%, unsetting a value in the options automator, or diagnosing an automator run that reports an unregistered option. Trigger on "remove this feature flag", "delete this option", "clean up the flag", "the flag is fully rolled out", "deprecate an option", "unregistered option", "options drift on main".

Filter large Sentry Scraps design-system migration PRs for review by separating mechanical import-path changes, generated baseline updates, snapshot mocks, and pure renames from substantive destination-component and logic changes. Use when asked to review a large "ref(scraps)" PR, a "move component into Scraps" PR, or to filter Scraps migration noise. Do not use for general refactors or migrations outside getsentry/sentry.

Add a new Seer embed widget — a rich component rendered inline in Seer's markdown output via tag syntax. Covers schema, component, registration, and backend codegen. Use when asked to "add an embed", "new seer embed", "create a seer widget", "add a markdown widget", "new seer tag", or "embed widget".

Set up and manage the Sentry development environment using devenv. Handles fresh setup, updating existing environments, starting dev services, resetting the database, per-worktree environment setup (each worktree needs its own devenv sync/.venv), and troubleshooting. Use when asked to "set up sentry", "setup dev environment", "get sentry running", "start dev server", "devenv setup", "devservices not working", "sentry won't start", "reset the database", "new worktree venv/devenv setup", or any development environment issue.

Backport a merged PR to a maintenance major branch (v10 by default) in getsentry/sentry-javascript. Cherry-picks the PR's squash-merge commit onto the target branch, namespaces the commit/PR title scope (e.g. fix(core) -> fix(v10/core)), opens a draft backport PR, and documents any deviation from the original PR in its body. Use when asked to backport a PR, or port a fix to v10 (or an older major like v9). Trigger phrases include "backport", "port to v10", "release this on v10".

Bump the @sentry/conventions dependency to a new version across every package in the monorepo. Use when upgrading, bumping, or aligning @sentry/conventions, or when a new @sentry/conventions release needs to be pulled into all workspaces.

Bump size limits in .size-limit.js when the size-limit CI check is failing. Use when the user mentions size limit failures, bundle size checks failing, CI size check errors, or needs to update size-limit thresholds. Analyze a Linear project's health and produce a status summary for a project lead or manager. Inspects status-update cadence, lead/owner presence, target-date realism and stability, issue staleness, milestone health, and scope creep. Use whenever the user wants a status report, project review, health check, weekly review, or audit of a Linear project — including phrases like "how is project X going", "give me a status on this Linear project", "audit this project", "is this project on track", "check project health", or when they paste a Linear project URL and ask for a summary. Use it even when the user doesn't explicitly say "audit" or "status" — if the request is fundamentally "tell me how this Linear project is doing", trigger this skill.

Help the user draft and (with their explicit approval) post a status update to a Linear project they lead. Use whenever the user wants to "post a project update", "write a status update", "update my Linear project", "send a project update", or asks for help with weekly/biweekly project updates. Also trigger when the user pastes a Linear project URL and asks for an update, mentions wanting to write an update for their project, or wants help drafting a status message for stakeholders. Even when the user doesn't explicitly say "post" or "status update" — if the underlying request is "help me write an update for my Linear project", trigger this skill. The user always keeps final control of the words; this skill drafts a proposal and never posts without explicit confirmation in the same turn.

Port a span op to low-cardinality span names, applied only when span streaming is enabled. Use when asked to make a span op's names low cardinality, remove raw URLs/IDs from span names, apply the Sentry span name conventions to an op, or "port <op> spans to low cardinality names". Trigger phrases include "low cardinality span name", "span name conventions", "span name fallback", "Pageload/Navigation span name".

A folder with a SKILL.md file: a name, a description of when to use it, and instructions. Claude loads a skill only when the task matches its description.
How do I use one I find here?
Copy the folder into your project's .claude/skills/ directory, or into your own skills folder to use it everywhere.
What do the warnings mean?
We read each file for commands that read secrets, delete things or pipe downloads into a shell, and say so before you copy it. No warning is not a promise that a file is safe.
Which skills worked for people?
Open a skill to see its discussion. Reports from people and their agents are coming.
