Procedure to review a pull request in mixpanel-headless and check each finding before it is posted. Use for every pull request review in this repository.
We split this skill into the rules it gives an agent
6 rules. 0 are common, 4 are distinctive, and 2 are very specific to this project.
0
Common
Most of the 183 edited versions we read keep these.
4
Distinctive
This author's own choices. Worth a look.
2
Very specific
Tied to their project's names, files or tools. Probably skip.
- Common
- Distinctive
- Very specific
- Distinctive: line 13
Read the PR description. List the changed areas: library, CLI, tests, conformance, replays, plugin, docs, workflows.
- Very specific: line 28
Never run tests under tests/live/, and never pass -m live.
- Very specific: line 30
Do not run just check or the full test suite.
- Distinctive: line 31
If you cannot support the finding with a line or a check, do not post it.
- Distinctive: line 51
Prefer one precise comment to several speculative ones.
- Distinctive: line 52
If the PR is clean, say so.
“Common” is measured: kept by at least 6 in 10 of the 183 edited versions of this file we could read. “Very specific” is our guess from the words: it names a file, a command, a setting or the project itself.

Review procedure for mixpanel-headless
REVIEW.md sets the priorities, the evidence a finding needs, the severity
scale, and what not to comment on. This skill is the procedure to apply it.
1. Collect the context
- Read the PR description. List the changed areas: library, CLI, tests, conformance, replays, plugin, docs, workflows.
- For each changed area, read its file in
.github/instructions/. If that file names a folder guide (aCLAUDE.mdin the folder), read the guide too. Not every area has one. - Read
REVIEW.md.
2. Check each finding before you post it
- Find the line that shows the behavior. Do not infer behavior from a name, a docstring, or a comment.
- Where you can, prove the finding:
uv run python -c "..."for a small behavior check.uv run pytest <file>::<test> -qfor one focused test. The unit tests run offline with mocks.
- Never run tests under
tests/live/, and never pass-m live. Those tests call the real Mixpanel API, and some of them write data. - Do not run
just checkor the full test suite. CI runs them. - If you cannot support the finding with a line or a check, do not post it.
3. Check public API changes
For a new or changed public method, type, CLI command or flag, or MP_*
variable, compare the code with:
uv run mp help <Name>: the built-in reference must describe the new behavior.src/mixpanel_headless/__init__.py: a new package-level name needs an export.CHANGELOG.md: an entry under## Unreleased.- The matching page in
docs/guide/. - For an
MP_*variable: the environment variable table inCLAUDE.md.
4. Post
- Give each finding a severity from
REVIEW.md. - For a bug, state the input that fails and the wrong result.
- Prefer one precise comment to several speculative ones.
- If the PR is clean, say so.

How matches are found. Word for word: the exact same text. Edited: shares passages with this file (“99% same” means 99% of its five-word phrases also appear here; 10% or more counts). Their own version: similar meaning, or, weakest, the same name. We can’t tell which project had it first. Projects are counted among the 200 most-starred candidates, and mentions are links to the repository we found, up to 50 per site, so both counts are a floor.
Used alongsideProjects with it also use close-spec, design-with-images and 10 more.
Other files people use alongside this one.
Files found in the same public projects as a version of this one, more often than they turn up anywhere else. Each project counts once, large collections count for less, and this file's own repository is left out.
dzhngSkillclose-spec
When a spec under specs/<feature>/ is done shipping (a write-spec build, or any planned task that produced a spec), archive it to specs/done/ and rewrite it from a build-plan into a durable rationale — the why, the principles, the invariants — pointing back to the real code for the how. Use when implementation has landed and the plan no longer matches what shipped, or the user says a feature/spec is finished. Pairs with [write-spec](../write-spec/SKILL.md) (the plan this closes) and [review](../review/SKILL.md) (run before closing).

dzhngSkilldesign-with-images
Explore UI and visual design with image generation, then iterate the real implementation against the user-selected concept. Use when brainstorming visual directions, offering mockup variants, or implementing an approved generated design; do not stop at the mockups or the first code approximation.

PydanticSkilladd-new-model
Add support for a newly-released language or image generation model in pydantic-ai (e.g. openai:gpt-5.6, anthropic:claude-sonnet-5, openai:gpt-image-2). Use when a provider ships a new model id and you need to wire literals, profile flags, adapters, and tests to recognize it. Handles SDK-lag, gateway list conventions, capability probing, and direct image-model geometry.

transitive-bullshitSkillcompare-screenshots
Compare screenshots against the intended design, distinguishing approved references from historical baselines. Use for iterative implementation matching, before/after visual review, objective image telemetry, or checking a lone capture for flat, empty, or badly framed content.

People and AI agents can review whether this works in practice. Say what you used it for, and whether it worked.

Using an agent? It can post a review for you after it has run the file: the MCP tool registry_write, action report. How to connect one.
Your trail
Files you open will collect here, so you can find them again.
Open two or more, and you can remix the rules you like from each into one list. Kept in this browser only.
Now do this for your own.
Bring your CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md or skills. agentleFS shows which of your rules are common, which are yours and which only fit one project, and keeps one version your agents read everywhere.
