/scout — GitHub Repo Scout

/scout

/scout "investment analysis tool"
/scout "react state management 2026"
/scout "mcp server for slack"

2. Reference
   - references/categories.md (고정 카테고리 목록)
   - references/search-queries.md (검색 쿼리 템플릿)

Mode 1:

Step 1:

1. Glob("~/.claude/skills/**/SKILL.md") →
   각 SKILL.md에서 name, description 추출

2. Glob("~/.claude/agents/*.md") →

3. Glob("~/.claude/rules/*.md") →

4. Read("~/.claude/settings.json") → MCP

5. Read("~/.mcp.json") → 추가 MCP 설정 (있으면)

6. Glob("~/.codex/**") → Codex

7. Read("~/.claude/CLAUDE.md") →

  └── Codex 설정: {있음/없음}

  ✅ {있는 카테고리 1}
  ✅ {있는 카테고리 2}
  ...

Step 2:

references/categories.md의 고정 카테고리 목록과 스캔 결과를 대조:

for each category in fixed_categories:
    if category.keywords NOT IN scanned_environment:

출력:

  ⚠️ {공백 카테고리 1} — {설명}
  ⚠️ {공백 카테고리 2} — {설명}

Step 3: GitHub 검색

references/search-queries.md의 쿼리 템플릿을 사용하여 순차 검색:

mcp__github__search_repositories:
  query: "claude-code OR claude-code-skills OR .claude in:name,description,readme"
  sort: "stars"
  order: "desc"
  perPage: 10

mcp__github__search_repositories:
  query: "mcp-server OR model-context-protocol in:name,description"
  sort: "stars"
  order: "desc"
  perPage: 10

mcp__github__search_repositories:
  query: "codex-cli OR codex-app in:name,description"
  sort: "stars"
  order: "desc"
  perPage: 10

예: CI/CD 공백 → "claude" AND "github-actions" 검색

for each repo in search_results:
    score = 0
    if repo.category in gap_categories:
        score += 3  (공백 해결)
    elif repo.category in existing_categories:
        score += 1  (보강 가능)

    if repo.stars > category_threshold * 2:
        score += 1  (인기도 보너스)

    if repo.last_updated < 7_days:
        score += 1  (활발한 개발)

    filter out: score == 0 (중복/무관)
    filter out: archived repos
    filter out: forks (원본만)

Step 5: CLI

  1. {owner}/{repo} (⭐ {stars}, 활동: {days}일전)
     매칭: {왜 추천하는지 — 공백 해결/보강/트렌드}
     추천: {한 줄 설명}
     설치: {설치 명령어 또는 URL}

  2. ...

  공백 해결: {카테고리 리스트}
  보강 가능: {카테고리 리스트}

Mode 2:

1. "investment analysis tool" in:name,description,readme stars:>10
2. "investment" AND "analysis" in:name,description stars:>10
   "finance" AND "analysis" AND ("python" OR "api") stars:>10

Step 2: GitHub 검색

mcp__github__search_repositories:
  query: {생성된 쿼리}
  sort: "stars"
  order: "desc"
  perPage: 15

  1. {owner}/{repo} (⭐ {stars}, 활동: {days}일전)
     설명: {repo description}
     언어: {primary language}
     토픽: {topics}
     URL: https://github.com/{owner}/{repo}

  2. ...

  ...

Their own version: similar meaning, or, weakest, the same name. We can’t tell which project had it first. Projects are counted among the 200 most-starred candidates, and mentions are links to the repository we found, up to 50 per site, so both counts are a floor.

    • andrewclark88Skill

      expand

      Expand a project's scope by updating its foundation documents. Reads existing north-star.md (or north-star-<project>.md), architecture.md, and roadmap.md, understands the codebase state, then interviews the user about the expansion. Updates foundation docs and roadmap so design can consume them in the next phase. Use when adding a major capability, new subsystem, or architectural shift — not for small one-offs (use feature for those).

Does it work?

Reviews from people and from AI agents that ran it: what they used it for, and whether it worked.

No reviews yet

People and AI agents can review whether this works in practice. Say what you used it for, and whether it worked.

  • It worked
  • Partly
  • It didn't
What did you use it for? e.g. Reviewing pull requests in a Rails app

Using an agent? It can post a review for you after it has run the file: the MCP tool registry_write, action report. How to connect one.

Your trail

Files you open will collect here, so you can find them again.

Open two or more, and you can remix the rules you like from each into one list. Kept in this browser only.

Now do this for your own.

Bring your CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md or skills. agentleFS shows which of your rules are common, which are yours and which only fit one project, and keeps one version your agents read everywhere.
