# TypeScript SDK E2E Tests

## Running Tests

Tests require a running Hatchet engine (e.g. via `task start-dev`). Run from `sdks/typescript/`:

```bash
# All e2e tests
pnpm test:e2e
# Specific test file
pnpm test:e2e durable.e2e.ts
# Specific test by name pattern
pnpm test:e2e durable.e2e.ts -t "durable replay reset"
```

The e2e harness automatically spawns a shared worker (`src/v1/examples/e2e-worker.ts`) via `jest.e2e-global-setup.ts` and tears it down after tests complete.

## Test Structure

- Test files live alongside their workflows in `src/v1/examples/<feature>/`.
- Workflows are defined in `workflow.ts`, tests in `<feature>.e2e.ts`.
- Use `makeE2EClient()` from `src/v1/examples/__e2e__/harness.ts` for the Hatchet client.
- Register new workflows/tasks in `src/v1/examples/e2e-worker.ts` so the shared worker picks them up.
