Put the spotlight effect on your own talking-head clip and get an MP4 back. The frame goes dark and one hard theatre light finds your face, holds, then opens up back into your shot. Runs on the shared engine in video-effects. Use when someone says "spotlight", "spotlight", "lights go down on me", "theatre light" or "add the spotlight effect to my video".

spotlight
The frame goes dark and one hard theatre light finds your face, holds, then opens up back into your shot.
What you need
- Your clip. A vertical or landscape MP4 of you talking to camera, head and shoulders in shot. At least 2s long.
- No words. This effect shows none.
- The engine. Install
video-effectsbeside this skill and follow its setup once (ffmpeg, Node, Puppeteer, torch).
Run it
node ~/.claude/skills/video-effects/run.cjs spotlight my-clip.mp4 spotlight.mp4It plays for 1.18s from --at (default 0.6s), then hands back to your shot. Change the length with --len. Add --check to test the fit and load without rendering.
What you get
spotlight.mp4: 1080x1920, 30fps, H.264, your audio kept, the same length as your clip.
The effect itself is video-effects/fx/16-spotlight.js. Edit that file to change it.

How matches are found. Word for word: the exact same text. Edited: shares passages with this file (“99% same” means 99% of its five-word phrases also appear here; 10% or more counts). Their own version: similar meaning, or, weakest, the same name. We can’t tell which project had it first. Projects are counted among the 200 most-starred candidates, and mentions are links to the repository we found, up to 50 per site, so both counts are a floor.

Your trail
Files you open will collect here, so you can find them again.
Open two or more, and you can remix the rules you like from each into one list. Kept in this browser only.
Now do this for your own.
Bring your CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md or skills. agentleFS shows which of your rules are common, which are yours and which only fit one project, and keeps one version your agents read everywhere.
