Writing style guide derived from Modal's documentation voice. Apply when writing or editing docs, guides, tutorials, or technical prose that should read direct, second-person, confident, low-jargon, and example-first. Use to draft new docs in this voice or to revise existing prose toward it.
Toolkit for generating PowerToys stable or preview release notes from GitHub milestones, commit ranges, or Azure DevOps release-candidate builds. Use when asked to create release notes, summarize milestone PRs, generate changelog, prepare a draft preview release, calculate PR deltas across main and stable, update release documentation, manage PR milestones, or prepare and validate release assets.
All changes to code must follow the guidance documented in the repository. Before any issue is filed, branch is made, commits generated, or pull request (or PR) created, a search must be done to ensure the right steps are followed. Whenever asked to create an issue, commit messages, to push code, or create a PR, use this skill so everything is done correctly.
Route and complete Composio work across Composio For You and Composio Platform. Use when the user mentions Composio; wants an agent to use apps such as Gmail, Slack, GitHub, Notion, Calendar, or Linear; needs first-time setup, an SDK or MCP integration, CLI operation, migration guidance, current documentation, or help diagnosing a connection or tool call.
Write, debug, and optimize Adobe Illustrator automation scripts using ExtendScript (JavaScript/JSX). Use when creating or modifying scripts that manipulate documents, layers, paths, text frames, colors, symbols, artboards, or any Illustrator DOM objects. Covers the complete JavaScript object model, coordinate system, measurement units, export workflows, and scripting best practices.
Review Supabase docs changes locally in your `supabase/supabase` checkout — either an open PR (triage, classify, verify) or your own branch before opening a PR (local self-review). Covers markdown pipeline, MDX content, tutorials, examples, Studio links, and docs tooling. Use when asked to review docs PRs, self-review a draft branch, check who has approved, verify build output, or evaluate supabase/supabase documentation changes.
Retrieves up-to-date documentation, API references, and code examples for any developer technology. Use this skill whenever the user asks about a specific library, framework, SDK, CLI tool, or cloud service — even for well-known ones like React, Next.js, Prisma, Express, Tailwind, Django, or Spring Boot. Your training data may not reflect recent API changes or version updates.
This skill should be used when the user asks about "plugin settings", "store plugin configuration", "user-configurable plugin", ".local.md files", "plugin state files", "read YAML frontmatter", "per-project plugin settings", or wants to make plugin behavior configurable. Documents the .claude/plugin-name.local.md pattern for storing plugin-specific configuration with YAML frontmatter and markdown content.
Full patent drafting pipeline from invention description to jurisdiction-formatted filing documents. Supports CN (CNIPA), US (USPTO), EP (EPO). Supports invention patents and utility models. Use when user says \"写专利\", \"patent pipeline\", \"专利申请\", \"draft patent\", \"写权利要求书\", or wants to draft a complete patent application.

Audit a doc, guide, README, or block of prose against the good-docs-writing style guide and report violations. Use when the user asks to review, critique, lint, or check the voice and tone of documentation or text. Produces a structured findings report (file:line, rule violated, offending text, suggested rewrite) and does NOT edit files unless explicitly asked.
Technology-agnostic prompt generator that creates customizable AI prompts for scanning codebases and identifying high-quality code exemplars. Supports multiple programming languages (.NET, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Python) with configurable analysis depth, categorization methods, and documentation formats to establish coding standards and maintain consistency across development teams.
Draft a structured investment committee memo for PE deal approval. Synthesizes due diligence findings, financial analysis, and deal terms into a professional IC-ready document. Use when preparing for investment committee, writing up a deal, or creating a formal recommendation. Triggers on "write IC memo", "investment committee memo", "deal write-up", "prepare IC materials", or "recommendation memo".
Skill for using the command-line tool pdftk (PDFtk Server) for working with PDF files. Use when asked to merge PDFs, split PDFs, rotate pages, encrypt or decrypt PDFs, fill PDF forms, apply watermarks, stamp overlays, extract metadata, burst documents into pages, repair corrupted PDFs, attach or extract files, or perform any PDF manipulation from the command line.
Comprehensive security scanning and vulnerability detection. Includes input validation, path traversal prevention, CVE detection, and secure coding pattern enforcement. Use when: authentication implementation, authorization logic, payment processing, user data handling, API endpoint creation, file upload handling, database queries, external API integration. Skip when: read-only operations on public data, internal development tooling, static documentation, styling changes.
Build or update a professional-grade design system in Figma from a codebase. Use when the user wants to create variables/tokens, build component libraries, set up theming (light/dark modes), document foundations, or reconcile gaps between code and Figma. This skill teaches WHAT to build and in WHAT ORDER — it complements the `figma-use` skill which teaches HOW to call the Plugin API. Both skills should be loaded together.
Generates optimized prompts for AI tools. Activates only when the user explicitly asks to write, fix, improve, or adapt a prompt for a specific AI tool (LLM, Cursor, Midjourney, image AI, video AI, coding agents, etc.). Does not activate for general conversation, coding tasks, document writing, or other non-prompt-engineering work.
Migrates an LLM caller from services/llm-gateway to PostHog/ai-gateway. Use when adding a gateway caller, converting an existing Python gateway integration, adopting shared Go-capable client builders, changing gateway URLs or headers for a caller, or removing a Python fallback. Inventories the caller's contract, checks the parity record, implements the supported migration, updates tests, and stops with a documented blocker when Go parity is missing.
Plain text files in a repository that tell a coding agent how the project works: commands to run, conventions to follow and things to avoid. CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, cursor rules and skills are the common kinds.
CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md?
CLAUDE.md is read by Claude Code. AGENTS.md is an open format that Codex, Cursor and other agents read. Many projects keep one and point the other at it.
What is a skill?
A folder with a SKILL.md that describes one capability, such as filling PDFs or reviewing code. The agent loads it only when the task calls for it.
Can I search my own team's files too?
Your agents already can, over MCP, limited to the files you're allowed to read. Searching them from this page is coming.
