Configures Google Cloud API Gateway to act as a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server (Public Preview) that exposes REST APIs as agent tools over HTTP (POST /mcp). Use when migrating OpenAPI 2.0 specs to OpenAPI 3.x for MCP, annotating specs with x-google-api-management.mcp and x-google-mcp-tool, securing tools/list with JWTs or API keys, connecting Google ADK (McpToolset) or Apigee API hub and Agent Registry, or troubleshooting MCP JSON-RPC errors (-32601, -32602, -32000). Do not use for Apigee X proxy bundles, outbound LLM model routing, or GKE Gateway API.

Audit an MCP server's own declaration — primitive choice (tool/resource/prompt), tool naming, input/output schemas, behavior annotations, error channels, transport fit, server instructions, and tool-count/token budget — the design-rule slice of the MCP spec plus agent-friendliness rules. Invoke when authoring, reviewing, or publishing an MCP server, or vetting a third-party server before wiring it in. Skip when auditing individual tool definitions' ergonomics or verifying annotations against their implementation — even for tools an MCP server exposes (use audit-tool-definition) or the whole agent harness's exfiltration/security architecture (use audit-lethal-trifecta).
Design, scaffold, audit, and upgrade Model Context Protocol servers. Use when the user asks to build or migrate an MCP server, adopt MCP 2026-07-28, add dual-era support, create an MCP integration, expose an API or data source through MCP tools/resources/prompts, add OAuth or API-key auth to an MCP endpoint, run an authorization server for it, support browser-hosted MCP clients, or choose an MCP transport/auth/deployment shape.
Use when exposing a service or dataset to AI clients through the Model Context Protocol — few task-shaped tools with typed inputs, read-only by default, server-enforced confirmation for writes, stdio or Streamable HTTP, OAuth for remote, size limits, tests with the Inspector.
Build Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers in Python (FastMCP), JavaScript, or TypeScript. Use when creating new MCP servers, adding tools/resources/prompts, configuring transports (stdio/HTTP), or debugging MCP protocol issues. Triggers on requests for MCP development, AI tool creation, or Claude Desktop integration.

Use when writing or reviewing a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server in Java that exposes a service's data or actions as tools to coding agents and LLM clients, with the official MCP Java SDK (io.modelcontextprotocol.sdk) or Spring AI's MCP server starters, choosing STDIO or Streamable HTTP, writing tool input schemas, seeing a client fail to parse the server's output, or securing an HTTP MCP endpoint. Key rule: the official SDK (mcp 2.1.0) or Spring AI 2.0 starters; narrow intent-level tools (search_orders), never run_sql or run_command; a JSON schema with enum, bounds, required and additionalProperties false, validateToolInputs left on; never write to System.out with STDIO (logs to stderr, banner and console logging off); tool work under a timeout that cancels it and a fail-fast concurrency cap; failures as isError results with sanitized text, never thrown; HTTP behind an OAuth 2.1 resource server checking the token audience, plus Origin and Host validation.
Connect AI coding agents to Figma designs via MCP to generate code from frames, extract design tokens, use Code Connect, and write directly to the canvas
Run and interact with MATLAB using AI applications through the Model Context Protocol, enabling AI agents to execute MATLAB code, manage sessions, and assess code quality.
Control Unity Editor and Unity Hub from AI assistants via MCP — 288 tools for scene management, GameObjects, components, builds, profiling, Shader Graph, terrain, physics, and more
This skill should be used when the user asks to "build an MCP server", "create an MCP", "make an MCP integration", "wrap an API for Claude", "expose tools to Claude", "make an MCP app", or discusses building something with the Model Context Protocol. It is the entry point for MCP server development — it interrogates the user about their use case, determines the right deployment model (remote HTTP, MCPB, local stdio), picks a tool-design pattern, and hands off to specialized skills.
管理个人 SERVER.md 运维知识库。Use this skill whenever the user mentions ~/SERVER.md, SERVER.md, 服务器清单, server inventory, tailnet nodes, self-managed servers, WSL/Windows/Ubuntu host notes, or asks Claude to create, locate, update, summarize, or use a personal server runbook. It helps Claude find the canonical SERVER.md across WSL, Windows, native Ubuntu, and remote hosts; preserve progressive disclosure by splitting details into reference files; summarize local machine and managed servers without leaking secrets; and turn server notes into safe operational checklists.

Design and ship production-ready MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers from OpenAPI contracts instead of hand-written tool wrappers. Python and TypeScript support, schema validation, safe evolution. Use when exposing an existing API as an MCP server, building tool integrations for Claude or Codex or Cursor, or scaffolding an MCP project from scratch.

Build MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers including tool definition, schema design, authentication, error handling, and Claude Code integration. Use this skill when the user needs to create an MCP server, expose APIs or databases to AI agents, design tool schemas, or integrate with Claude Code — even if they say 'build an MCP server', 'connect Claude to our database', 'expose our API to AI', or 'create a tool for Claude Code'.

Create Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that expose tools, resources, and prompts to Claude. Use when building custom integrations, APIs, data sources, or any server that Claude should interact with via the MCP protocol. Supports both TypeScript and Python implementations.

Hardens MCP servers with OAuth, scoped tools, input validation, and safe defaults. Use when securing MCP, adding authentication, preventing tool abuse, or reviewing MCP security before production.
Plain text files in a repository that tell a coding agent how the project works: commands to run, conventions to follow and things to avoid. CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, cursor rules and skills are the common kinds.
CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md?
CLAUDE.md is read by Claude Code. AGENTS.md is an open format that Codex, Cursor and other agents read. Many projects keep one and point the other at it.
What is a skill?
A folder with a SKILL.md that describes one capability, such as filling PDFs or reviewing code. The agent loads it only when the task calls for it.
Can I search my own team's files too?
Your agents already can, over MCP, limited to the files you're allowed to read. Searching them from this page is coming.
