Produces a rigorous SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) for a company, product, team, project, or personal decision, then converts the four quadrants into prioritized, concrete strategic actions using a TOWS cross-matrix. Use this skill when the user asks for a "SWOT analysis", "SWOT", "strengths and weaknesses", "competitive analysis", "strategic assessment", "situation analysis", "should we launch/enter/pivot", or wants help turning a SWOT into an action plan, strategy, or roadmap.

Produces clear, well-structured technical documentation — guides, API docs, READMEs, tutorials, reference pages, and release notes — by analyzing audience, choosing the right document type, applying plain-language and information-architecture principles, and including runnable examples. Use this skill when the user asks to write or improve docs, a README, a how-to guide, a tutorial, API/reference documentation, onboarding material, release notes, or wants prose made clearer, simpler, or better organized for a specific reader.

Authors reusable, production-grade Terraform modules with clean typed variables, well-documented outputs, version pinning, state hygiene, and built-in validation. Use this skill when the user asks to "write a Terraform module", "refactor Terraform into a module", "add variable validation", "structure a Terraform repo", "publish a module to the registry", "review my .tf files", or otherwise create, organize, or harden HCL infrastructure code.

Runs structured STRIDE threat modeling by decomposing a system into a data flow diagram, enumerating threats per element (Spoofing, Tampering, Repudiation, Information disclosure, Denial of service, Elevation of privilege), and producing prioritized, actionable mitigations with risk ratings. Use this skill when the user asks to "threat model", "do a STRIDE analysis", "find security threats", "assess attack surface", "build a data flow diagram for security", "review the security design", or wants a risk-ranked list of threats and countermeasures for a feature, API, service, or architecture.

Builds realistic, day-by-day travel itineraries that balance logistics, budget, pacing, and local highlights, with hour-level day plans, transit links, cost estimates, and contingency buffers. Use this skill when a user asks to "plan a trip", "build an itinerary", "plan X days in <city/country>", "what should I do in <destination>", "make a travel schedule", "plan a road trip / honeymoon / family vacation", or wants help sequencing activities, allocating a travel budget, or pacing days to avoid burnout.

Writes thorough, maintainable unit tests with comprehensive edge cases, table-driven cases, proper mocking/stubbing, and meaningful coverage across languages and frameworks (pytest, Jest/Vitest, Go testing, JUnit, RSpec, xUnit, Rust). Use this skill when the user asks to "write tests", "add unit tests", "improve coverage", "test this function/class/module", "add edge cases", "mock this dependency", "make these tests table-driven", "test error handling", or wants a test plan before implementing. Covers test naming, AAA structure, fixtures, parametrization, mocking strategy, async tests, property-based testing, and avoiding brittle/flaky tests.

Writes high-quality agile user stories that satisfy the INVEST criteria, with clear role/goal/benefit phrasing and testable Gherkin (Given/When/Then) acceptance criteria, and splits epics into thin vertical slices. Use this skill when the user asks to "write a user story", "create acceptance criteria", "break this epic into stories", "turn this requirement into a backlog item", "write Gherkin scenarios", or is grooming/refining a product backlog.

Triages and prioritizes security vulnerabilities (CVEs) by combining CVSS base/temporal scores, real-world exploitability (EPSS, KEV, public PoCs), environmental exposure (internet-facing, network reachability, authentication), and business impact (data sensitivity, asset criticality) into a defensible, ranked remediation plan with SLAs. Use this skill when asked to triage CVEs, prioritize a vulnerability scan, assess whether a CVE is exploitable or reachable in a given environment, decide patch urgency, set remediation SLAs, write a vulnerability risk assessment, deduplicate scanner findings, or answer "how bad is CVE-XXXX-YYYYY for us?" / "should we drop everything to patch this?".

Builds safe, progressive, personalized workout programs around a person's goal, experience level, available equipment, schedule, and constraints — with weekly splits, exercise selection, sets/reps, progression rules, and deload guidance. Use this skill when a user asks to "make me a workout plan", "build a training program", "gym routine for X days a week", "help me build muscle / lose fat / get stronger", "home workout with no equipment", or wants a push/pull/legs, upper/lower, or full-body split.

Plain text files in a repository that tell a coding agent how the project works: commands to run, conventions to follow and things to avoid. CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, cursor rules and skills are the common kinds.
CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md?
CLAUDE.md is read by Claude Code. AGENTS.md is an open format that Codex, Cursor and other agents read. Many projects keep one and point the other at it.
What is a skill?
A folder with a SKILL.md that describes one capability, such as filling PDFs or reviewing code. The agent loads it only when the task calls for it.
Can I search my own team's files too?
Your agents already can, over MCP, limited to the files you're allowed to read. Searching them from this page is coming.
