Autonomously QA and verify the application using browser automation. Use when verifying code changes, testing features, validating bug fixes, or confirming any work done on the application. Triggers on requests to "test this", "verify this works", "QA this change", "make sure it works", or after implementing features that need validation.
Use after audience-site-brief Phase 6 (UX design optimization) to plan conversion experiments. Produces a prioritized test backlog using the PIE framework (Potential, Importance, Ease), hypothesis templates, and persona-calibrated CTA variants. Run before launch to identify what to validate first, not what to guess at.
Run QA testing on a page, feature, or full site at one of three depth tiers (smoke, standard, full). Use this skill whenever the user asks to QA a page or site, run a smoke test after a deploy, verify a page before launch, or run a regression sweep. Triggers on QA, QA sweep, smoke test, regression test, post-deploy check, pre-launch check, verify the deploy, test this page, does the page render, broken link, 404, image not loading. Also triggers proactively after a deploy or a new page launch where verification matters. Covers accessibility, performance, and SEO at the surface-signal level only: deep audits belong to `accessibility-audit`, `performance-optimization`, and `seo-technical`, and code-level debugging to `code-review-web`.
Write, review or diagnose Go tests, choosing table-driven tests, stubs, httptest, concurrency, fuzzing and isolated integration verification by public behaviour. Existing healthy tests are not rewritten because the skill is used, and coverage does not replace fault-detection power.
Plain text files in a repository that tell a coding agent how the project works: commands to run, conventions to follow and things to avoid. CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, cursor rules and skills are the common kinds.
CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md?
CLAUDE.md is read by Claude Code. AGENTS.md is an open format that Codex, Cursor and other agents read. Many projects keep one and point the other at it.
What is a skill?
A folder with a SKILL.md that describes one capability, such as filling PDFs or reviewing code. The agent loads it only when the task calls for it.
Can I search my own team's files too?
Your agents already can, over MCP, limited to the files you're allowed to read. Searching them from this page is coming.
