webgpu-local-testing

microsoft/onnxruntime/.github/skills/webgpu-local-testing/SKILL.md

Build and run ONNX Runtime WebGPU provider tests on Linux WITHOUT a real GPU, using a software Vulkan adapter (Mesa lavapipe). Use when you need to exercise WebGPU EP kernels off-Mac — the Linux webgpu CI leg is build-only, so software Vulkan is how you actually run WebGPU correctness tests locally. SCOPE - lavapipe only validates host-side enforce/shape bugs and MatMul-free kernels; any graph containing MatMul (including the expanded-Attention node tests) crashes lavapipe and runs ONLY on macOS-arm64 Metal, which is the source of truth for those. Covers install (dnf on Azure Linux), the --use_webgpu build flag, the onnxruntime_provider_test target, VK_ICD_FILENAMES, and the lavapipe MatMul crash gotcha.

workspace-estimation-shared-header

microsoft/onnxruntime/.github/skills/workspace-estimation-shared-header/SKILL.md

Use when editing a boundary-safe shared header meant to be included by both in-tree and shared-provider/plugin-bridge code (e.g. include/onnxruntime/core/framework/workspace_requirement.h, or any future header supporting OrtKernelWorkspaceEstimateFunc / DeclareWorkspaceRequirements per issue #29775's Phase-A workspace-estimation roadmap), or when a workspace-estimation math helper needs to be callable from a future plugin EP DLL. Covers a Node forward-declaration ODR trap and the math-helper vs. graph-parsing-wrapper reuse boundary discovered while implementing PR #29811 (MatMulNBits pilot).

assign-prs

microsoft/fluentui/.agents/skills/assign-prs/SKILL.md

Assign reviewers to the open pull requests awaiting review from the Fluent UI team queues, by default microsoft/cxe-prg and microsoft/fluentui-react-build. Routes each PR that lacks coverage to a reviewer by area ownership and then by lowest current review load, requesting only the shortfall. Always presents a dry-run plan and requires explicit approval before requesting a review.

Use this skill as a local or cloud-agent fallback to native Dependabot groups without adding a custom scheduled GitHub Actions workflow. Always presents a dry-run plan and requires explicit approval before changing branches or GitHub pull requests.

triage-issues

microsoft/fluentui/.agents/skills/triage-issues/SKILL.md

Triage newly-filed GitHub issues on the Fluent UI repo (microsoft/fluentui) following the Shield triage guidelines. Fetches open issues labeled `Needs: Triage :mag:` via the `gh` CLI, classifies each (bug vs feature, product area, partner ask, repro quality, a11y), recommends label changes and area-owner assignment, and then applies the approved changes. Use this skill whenever the user asks to triage issues, run shield triage, go through the triage queue, process needs-triage, or any variation -- even if they don't mention "Fluent UI" or "GitHub" explicitly, since that's the project context here.

CLAUDE.md vs AGENTS.md

Agent instruction files

What are agent instruction files?

Plain text files in a repository that tell a coding agent how the project works: commands to run, conventions to follow and things to avoid. CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, cursor rules and skills are the common kinds.

CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md?

CLAUDE.md is read by Claude Code. AGENTS.md is an open format that Codex, Cursor and other agents read. Many projects keep one and point the other at it.

What is a skill?

A folder with a SKILL.md that describes one capability, such as filling PDFs or reviewing code. The agent loads it only when the task calls for it.

Can I search my own team's files too?

Your agents already can, over MCP, limited to the files you're allowed to read. Searching them from this page is coming.
