PolyStella — an Astro integration that translates content into additional locales at build time using AI, caches translations in Cloudflare R2, and injects locale-prefixed routes. This file is the entry point for coding agents working on the PolyStella package itself. Four companion docs: - PACKAGE_ARCHITECTURE.md — post-migration package ownership, dependency direction, key files, and boundary checks. - ARCHITECTURE.md — system design, invariants, glossary, per-subsystem reference. The "why" answers. - skills/polystella-contributor/SKILL.md — step-by-step recipes for common contributor tasks (add an adapter,…

AI-driven content localization for Astro: build-time translation of Markdown/MDX/TOML/JSON/YAML into additional locales, cached in Cloudflare R2, with locale-prefixed routing. PolyStella is an Astro integration plus four published packages (core, EmDash, Astro, and a compatibility shim). Translations happen at build time, are content-addressed (source bytes + glossary + model), cached in R2, and rendered as static bytes — no runtime AI calls. The Astro package includes the integration and a polystella CLI with verb-style subcommands (translate, check-ui, sync-ui, translate-ui). Direct flow:…
Add or maintain PolyStella in an existing Astro project. Use when integrating AI-driven build-time content localization, configuring R2 caching, wiring locale-prefixed routes, or debugging an existing PolyStella setup in a downstream project.
Edit the PolyStella package source. Use when adding a file-format adapter, adding a CLI subcommand, adding a translation provider, modifying the cache contract, debugging a translation regression, or otherwise working on the package itself (not consuming it).

This project audits Node.js API compatibility across different runtimes (Node.js, Bun, Deno, Cloudflare Workers/workerd). It generates JSON dumps of runtime APIs and displays compatibility in a React-based report at https://workers-nodejs-compat-matrix.pages.dev Node built-ins first (with node: protocol), then third-party, then local:
TypeScript scripts + shell scripts for validation, reporting, versioning, and deployment. 6 GitHub Actions workflows in .github/workflows/. Parent: See root AGENTS.md for monorepo context. Jobs communicate via filesystem: each writes JSON to ci/reports/{id}.json, final job reads all. getGitRefs() ad
Plain text files in a repository that tell a coding agent how the project works: commands to run, conventions to follow and things to avoid. CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, cursor rules and skills are the common kinds.
CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md?
CLAUDE.md is read by Claude Code. AGENTS.md is an open format that Codex, Cursor and other agents read. Many projects keep one and point the other at it.
What is a skill?
A folder with a SKILL.md that describes one capability, such as filling PDFs or reviewing code. The agent loads it only when the task calls for it.
Can I search my own team's files too?
Your agents already can, over MCP, limited to the files you're allowed to read. Searching them from this page is coming.
