# Python conventions

- Use Python 3.11+ compatible syntax.
- Use async Playwright APIs in runtime and tool code.
- Keep public helper and tool signatures typed.
- Convert exceptions to `{ok: false, error, error_type}` only at the MCP tool
  boundary.
- Keep unit tests lightweight; mock heavy browser dependencies when possible.
