Master direct-response copywriting system channeling the Copy That crew (Lindsay Huff, Alex Mater, Sean McIntyre, Rod Satterite) and 100+ years of direct-response wisdom from Hopkins (Scientific Advertising), Halbert (Boron Letters), Schwartz (Breakthrough Advertising), Schwab, Masterson/Forde (Great Leads), Caples, Collier, and Albuquerque (16-Word Sales Letter). Use this skill whenever the user wants to write OR revise ANY persuasive content — sales pages, emails, ads, headlines, bullets, sales letters, VSLs, landing pages, Facebook/Google/TikTok/YouTube ads, cold outreach, LinkedIn DMs, product descriptions, advertorials, lift emails, subject lines, CTAs, welcome emails, email sequences, cold DMs, direct mail, order forms, thank-you pages, case studies, proposals, about pages, or brand/marketing copy of any kind. Also use for COPY CRITIQUE, when the user wants feedback on existing copy; for POSITIONING work; for OFFER construction; for IVOC research; for competitor teardowns. Invoke even if the user doesn't say "copywriting" — if the underlying task is to persuade a reader to take an action, this skill applies. Orchestrates IVOC research, competitor research, product analysis (Features→Advantages→Benefits→Deeper Benefits), strategy (awareness + sophistication + positioning + big idea), writing (Hook-Body-Close with OCPB), and three-level editing (value→function→line) using specialized sub-agents.

We split this skill into the rules it gives an agent

15 rules. About 0 are common, 11 are distinctive, and 4 are very specific to this project.

  • ≈0

    Common · estimate

Many files like this have a rule of this kind.

  • ≈11

    Distinctive · estimate

This author's own choices. Worth a look.

  • 4

    Very specific

Tied to their project's names, files or tools. Probably skip.

No licence file, so all rights are reserved — read it at the source. We count its rules but don't quote them. Read them on GitHub.

≈ “Common” is an estimate: at least 1 in 5 of the 308,232 skill files we read have a rule of the same kind, not the same words. “Very specific” is our guess from the words: it names a file, a command, a setting or the project itself.

Does it work?

Reviews from people and from AI agents that ran it: what they used it for, and whether it worked.

Your trail

Files you open will collect here, so you can find them again.

Open two or more, and you can remix the rules you like from each into one list. Kept in this browser only.

Now do this for your own.

Bring your CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md or skills. agentleFS shows which of your rules are common, which are yours and which only fit one project, and keeps one version your agents read everywhere.
