k12-lesson-plan-creation

anthropics/k12-teacher-skills/plugin/skills/k12-lesson-plan-creation/SKILL.md

Creates a lesson plan, student-facing materials, and observation template. Load this skill BEFORE asking the teacher any clarifying question about grade, subject, topic, standard, or timing. Use when a K-12 teacher needs a math, ELA, science, or social studies lesson built from scratch — even if grade, subject, or topic isn't yet stated. Do NOT load for grading, a rubric, assessment feedback, a quiz, or a standards lookup — answer those directly. Triggers on explicit requests (lesson plan, mini-lesson, unit plan, daily plan) and implicit teacher intent: "I'm teaching long division to 5th graders," "need to teach photosynthesis tomorrow." Core signal: teacher needs new instructional content created. A new lesson that asks for differentiated, tiered, or leveled materials is still ONE planning request — this skill produces those materials inside the lesson package; do not also invoke k12-lesson-differentiation. Not for differentiating an existing lesson (use k12-lesson-differentiation) or passage rewrites.

k12-lesson-prep

anthropics/k12-teacher-skills/plugin/skills/k12-lesson-prep/SKILL.md

Helps a teacher prepare to teach an existing K-12 lesson (math / ELA / science / social studies) — a prep partner that thinks through the lesson's key student task with the teacher and leaves a short teacher-only prep note. Triggers on asks to internalize, prepare for, get ready to teach, or understand a lesson, including implicit ones ("help me get ready for tomorrow's lesson"), and right after another skill built a lesson, which it can follow. Not for building or adapting a lesson, grading, rubrics, assessment feedback, or generating quizzes or student-facing material, and not for single-fact lookups a sentence would answer ("what standard is this?", "how long is this lesson?").

clinical-note-extract-skill

anthropics/healthcare/plugins/healthcare/skills/clinical-note-extract/SKILL.md

Extract structured data from clinical notes with span-level provenance and null-safety. Use when users say "extract [variables] from this note", "abstract this chart", "pull structured data from these notes", "what does this note say about [field]", or when building a chart-abstraction, registry, or cohort dataset from unstructured clinical text.

contracts

anthropics/healthcare/plugins/healthcare/skills/contracts/SKILL.md

Answer a question across a corpus of contract documents with verified citations. Use when the user asks what a contract says, which contracts have a clause, what changed between amendments, or any question that needs reading and citing across a set of contract files. The corpus must be on the local filesystem (see README).

doc-extract

anthropics/healthcare/plugins/healthcare/skills/doc-extract/SKILL.md

Extract plain text from a document file - PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, RTF, or plain text/markdown/HTML. Use when a binary document needs to be turned into text, for example a contract PDF or an EHR DocumentReference attachment. Other skills (fhir) invoke scripts/extract.ts directly; the contracts MCP server bundles its own copy (servers/documents/src/extract.mjs) so its bundle stays self-contained — port fixes to both.

fhir-developer-skill

anthropics/healthcare/plugins/healthcare/skills/fhir-developer/SKILL.md

FHIR API development guide for building healthcare endpoints. Use when: (1) Creating FHIR REST endpoints (Patient, Observation, Encounter, Condition, MedicationRequest), (2) Validating FHIR resources and returning proper HTTP status codes and error responses, (3) Implementing SMART on FHIR authorization and OAuth scopes, (4) Working with Bundles, transactions, batch operations, or search pagination. Covers FHIR R4 resource structures, required fields, value sets (status codes, gender, intent), coding systems (LOINC, SNOMED, RxNorm, ICD-10), and OperationOutcome error handling.

fhir

anthropics/healthcare/plugins/healthcare/skills/fhir/SKILL.md

Connect to a hospital's FHIR R4 server (Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, MEDITECH, athenahealth, or any SMART-on-FHIR endpoint), pull a patient's clinical data and notes, and extract structured findings. Use when users say "connect to the EHR", "connect to Epic/Cerner", "pull notes for patient X", "what do the last 6 months of notes say about Y", or any task that starts from a live EHR rather than pasted text.

prior-auth-review-skill

anthropics/healthcare/plugins/healthcare/skills/prior-auth/SKILL.md

Automate payer review of prior authorization (PA) requests. This skill should be used when users say "Review this PA request", "Process prior authorization for [procedure]", "Assess medical necessity", "Generate PA decision", or when processing clinical documentation for coverage policy validation and authorization decisions.

procedure-coding

anthropics/healthcare/plugins/healthcare/skills/procedure-coding/SKILL.md

Assign CPT and HCPCS Level II procedure codes from clinical documentation the way a professional coder builds the claim. Use when users say "code this encounter for procedures", "what CPT codes apply", "assign HCPCS codes", "code this op note", or when turning visit notes or operative reports into claim-ready procedure codes.

code-migration

anthropics/code-migration-kit-with-claude-code/skill/SKILL.md

Run a large-scale language migration with the six-step process: create the map and the rules, stress-test the rules, translate everything, compile, run it, match behavior. Use when the user wants to migrate, port, or rewrite a codebase from one language to another ("migrate this to Rust", "port our Python CLI to TypeScript", "should we rewrite this in Go?"), or asks for a migration feasibility assessment. Not for incremental JS→TS adoption — that needs no machinery — or single-file conversions.

handoff

anthropics/oncall-kit/skills/handoff/SKILL.md

Write the weekly on-call handoff: everything the incoming on-call needs, triage-ready, posted to the channel at shift boundary. Use when the weekly routine fires, or when someone asks for a handoff / shift summary / "catch the next on-call up".

AnthropicSkill

oncall-setup

anthropics/oncall-kit/skills/oncall-setup/SKILL.md

Bootstrap a Claude-assisted on-call for this channel/repo: discover the available connectors, mine incident history into draft triage playbooks, interview the human for policy, validate against held-out incidents, and install the scheduled routines. Use when the user wants to "set up on-call", "bootstrap the on-call kit", "onboard this channel", or has just installed the oncall-kit plugin. Five gated phases — never run more than one phase per turn, and never activate anything before Phase 4 sign-off.

AnthropicSkill

triage

anthropics/oncall-kit/skills/triage/SKILL.md

Investigate an alert or incident in this channel: classify the symptom, load the matching triage reference, check lessons.md for known causes, and post a grounded first-pass diagnosis with evidence links and a proposed (never executed) fix. Use when an alert fires, a routine detects a new anomaly, or someone reports something broken ("tests aren't running", "deploys look stuck", "is CI down?").

weather

anthropics/oncall-kit/skills/weather/SKILL.md

The optional standing status report ("the weather"): compile open incidents, build health, merge-queue stats, and deploy lag into one always-current report page, and post to the channel only when a defined event fires. Use when the weather routine fires, or when someone asks to run/update the weather report.

alts-brief

anthropics/claude-for-financial-advisors/skills/alts-brief/SKILL.md

Prepare a meeting-ready alternative-investments brief for a client, household, IRA, trust, or named account before a review — pulls the alts book from iCapital or Addepar (positions, NAV vs. commitment, called and unfunded amounts, contributions/distributions/subscriptions/redemptions, lockups, and the platform's own IRR/TVPI/DPI/RVPI) and sits it beside the liquid book and IPS target from the connected portfolio system (Orion Connect, Addepar, or Envestnet), then flags cash needed for capital calls, alts % vs. target, concentration, unfunded concentration, and stale as-of data. Cites the source platform on every figure and keeps disclosures on the page. Does not recommend funds, forecast NAVs/IRRs, or simulate allocation changes. Triggers on "alts brief", "/alts-brief", "prep the [client]'s alts review", "what's going on with [client]'s PE/private investments", "how's [client] doing on their alts", or any request to review a household's alternative investment positions before a meeting.

compliance

anthropics/claude-for-financial-advisors/skills/compliance/SKILL.md

Review any client-facing message or material (emails, letters, newsletters, social posts, website copy, presentations, performance reports, proposals) for compliance with SEC rules that govern investment advisers — the Marketing Rule (206(4)-1), fiduciary duty / antifraud provisions (206), Books and Records (204-2), and Reg BI where broker-dealer activity applies. Produces a pass/flag/fail markup, required disclosures, a books-and-records scratch-pad entry, and an archiving handoff reminder. Triggers on "compliance check", "/compliance", "is this compliant", "review this before I send it", "can I say this to a client", "check this email/post/deck". Use it whenever an advisor asks to check, review, or look over anything before it goes to a client or prospect — "check this before I send it", "look this over before it goes out" — even a routine note, because deciding that a message needs no changes is part of the review, not a reason to skip it.

estate-and-tax-brief

anthropics/claude-for-financial-advisors/skills/estate-and-tax-brief/SKILL.md

Prepare a meeting-ready estate and tax brief for a household — opens with what was discussed and actioned since the last meeting (Wealthbox/Redtail/Salesforce), pulls the estate plan from Wealth.com (structure, key documents and whether each is signed, balance sheet) plus the prior-year tax look-back and that year's tax constants, and cross-checks it against how accounts are titled and beneficiaried at the custodian and portfolio platforms (Schwab, Orion/Addepar, iCapital) — surfacing unfunded trusts, titling mismatches, and beneficiary gaps as a prioritized flags list. The only write is creating advisor-approved follow-up tasks in the CRM (optional, approved first). Never drafts trust language, gives legal advice, retitles an account, or changes a beneficiary. Triggers on "estate brief", "estate meeting brief", "estate and tax brief", "estate plan review for [client]", "check [client]'s trust funding", "are [client]'s beneficiaries up to date", or "does [client]'s estate plan match their accounts".

CLAUDE.md vs AGENTS.md

About skills

What is a Claude skill?

A folder with a SKILL.md file: a name, a description of when to use it, and instructions. Claude loads a skill only when the task matches its description.

How do I use one I find here?

Copy the folder into your project's .claude/skills/ directory, or into your own skills folder to use it everywhere.

What do the warnings mean?

We read each file for commands that read secrets, delete things or pipe downloads into a shell, and say so before you copy it. No warning is not a promise that a file is safe.

Which skills worked for people?

Open a skill to see its discussion. Reports from people and their agents are coming.
