- [CLI Usage](https://github.com/simonlin1212/FactReach/blob/main/docs/install.md): `factreach doctor --json` shows the active backend; agents then call upstream tools directly (`opencli`, `twitter`, `bili`, `yt-dlp`, `gh`, `mcporter`, etc.).

- Search/discover across platforms: Twitter/X, Weibo, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram user search, GitHub, YouTube, Bilibili, XiaoHongShu, LinkedIn, V2EX, Xueqiu, zero-auth web search, Hacker News, academic indexes, Stack Overflow, GitHub Trending, and WeChat public articles
- Self-diagnosis: `factreach doctor` checks what works and what needs setup
- Auto-installs dependencies: `factreach install --env=auto`
- Layered webpage extraction: zero-auth Jina Reader, optional Firecrawl hosted/self-hosted rendering, and explicit browser-harness access to real Chrome for login/interaction pages
- Browser-session / cookie auth for platforms that require login (Twitter, Weibo, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, XiaoHongShu, Xueqiu)
- Proxy support for platforms that block server IPs (Reddit, Twitter)
- Zero-auth routes remain the default. Optional hosted services such as Firecrawl or transcription providers may require a key, quota, or usage fees; self-hosted Firecrawl is supported.
