# Scry

> Scry is a mobile app and a small robot server that together turn any
> ROS 2 robot into something you can debug by chatting in plain
> language. The phone does the thinking; the robot just exposes its
> ROS 2 graph to Scry. No cloud backend, no telemetry.

## Quick facts

- Android 9 (API 28) or newer. iOS coming soon.
- ROS 2 Humble, Iron, Jazzy, Kilted, Lyrical, or Rolling.
- Middleware-agnostic — works with any ROS 2 RMW.
- Bring your own AI: OpenRouter (one key, 300+ models including Claude,
  GPT, and Gemini, with a free tier) or a local Ollama server for
  offline use.
- Around one hundred robot capabilities, thirty-one of which change the
  robot and require explicit on-phone approval before they run.
- Phone and robot communicate directly over your network on port 5339.
