## Install

### MCP (Cursor / VS Code / Claude Desktop)
Use npx package `mcp-server-anydoc` with stdio transport.

### Agent Plugin (Cursor local)
1. Clone https://github.com/ofershap/mcp-server-anydoc
2. Copy or symlink the repo into `~/.cursor/plugins/local/mcp-server-anydoc`
3. Reload Cursor Window
4. Confirm skills and MCP components load under Customize > Plugins

## Package layout
- `plugin.json` - Agent Plugins manifest
- `mcp.json` - portable MCP config (when present)

Q: Is this an Agent Plugin or only an MCP server?
A: Both. The repo is an Agent Plugins 1.0.0 package that bundles skills and MCP configuration. The runtime remains a standard MCP stdio server published on npm.

Q: Does Agent Plugins replace the official MCP registry entry?
A: No. `server.json` / npm publishing stay the source of truth for MCP discovery. Agent Plugins is a packaging layer for skills + MCP together.

Q: Are hooks, rules, and subagents portable?
A: Not in Agent Plugins v1. Only skills and MCP servers are portable. Client-specific features stay in client namespaces.
