# msg

> A Claude Code skill harness for structured software delivery: a gated pipeline from idea to production release, where a human approves at every gate.

msg is prompts, not a program. Each skill is a `SKILL.md` — a structured prompt Claude Code loads when the user types `/name` — backed by bash and Python helpers in `.claude/scripts/` that do everything decidable without a model. The one constraint that isn't obvious from the file tree: write powers are scoped per skill and the human gates are non-negotiable. `eng` only commits to feature branches, `pre-merge` opens a PR but never merges, and `merge` is the only skill that merges anything. If you're changing behaviour, read `safety-floor.md` before you read anything else.
