# Copilot Instructions for PCF KPI Dashboard Suite This workspace contains a Power Platform Component Framework (PCF) controls library for professional KPI dashboards. ## Project Structure - **Individual Control Directories**: Each PCF control has its own directory with source code, CSS, and manifest - **WorkingSolution Directory**: Contains the complete solution package structure for deployment to Power Platform - **Solution Directory**: Contains build outputs and packaged solutions - **Packaging Scripts**: PowerShell scripts for creating deployment packages ## Key Controls 1. **KpiStatControl** - Single metric display with trend indicators 2. **TripleKpiCard** - Three-metric unified card for communication tracking 3. **CircularKpiCard** - Salesforce-style circular progress visualization 4. **EngagementScorecard** - Calculated engagement scores with multiple methods 5. **OpportunitySummary** - Opportunity pipeline overview with win rates 6. **PipelineAttainment** - Goal achievement tracking with percentages 7. **TreeMapKpiControl** - D3.js hierarchical data visualization ## Development Guidelines - When building controls, use `npm run build` in each control directory - For solution packaging, use the WorkingSolution structure with proper ControlManifest.xml files - Maintain consistent naming: `kpi_BillWhalen.Controls.*` namespace for all controls - CSS should include vendor prefixes for cross-browser compatibility - Version bumps in solution.xml are required for Power Platform to recognize updates - Ultra-compact design: 150px minimum height for most controls (280px for TreeMap) ## Build Commands - `npm install` - Install dependencies - `npm run build` - Build all controls - `npm run rebuild` - Clean and rebuild - Individual controls: `cd [ControlName] && npm run build` ## Packaging - Use PowerShell scripts like `create-complete-package.ps1` for deployment packages - Solution packages go in WorkingSolution directory structure - Each control requires ControlManifest.xml in WorkingSolution/Controls/[namespace].[controlname]/
