# clodfarm

> clodfarm (pronounced "Claude farm") is an open-source, MIT-licensed tool that runs Claude Code agents around the clock in a Docker container. It is not made by Anthropic.

## What it does
- Workers take tasks from a shared queue and run Claude Code headless, each task in its own git worktree.
- Big tasks fan out into sub-agents; the parent task is resumed in its own session and merges their branches.
- An optional check (e.g. the project's tests) runs before work lands; a failing check sends the agent back to fix it.
- A budget governor reads the account's real 5-hour and weekly usage from Claude Code's rate-limit events. Defaults: agents stop at 80% of the week and 85% of a 5-hour window, wait out rejections, and never use paid overage unless allowed. With an API key it keeps to a daily dollar cap.
- A pixel-art web UI (localhost:8080, password login) shows every agent as a Claude character: working at a terminal, helping as a sub-agent, or napping when the budget paces it. You post quests and add Claude logins from it.
- Remote Control keeps the farm reachable from the Claude app and claude.ai/code.
- One box stores its state in SQLite. Several boxes and several Claude accounts can share one farm through DynamoDB, with a separate budget per account.

## Terms
On a subscription it is for your own projects on your own login. Use Team or Enterprise seats for people working together and an API key for commercial workloads.
