rust-conventions

leroyguillaume/claude/skills/rust-conventions/SKILL.md

Rust project conventions (clap, tokio, tracing, mockall, static dispatch, module and workspace layout, clippy and toolchain pinning, `.cargo/config.toml` development defaults, cargo-chef for Docker builds). TRIGGER when: editing or creating `.rs` files; touching `Cargo.toml`, `Cargo.lock`, `rust-toolchain*`, or `.cargo/config.toml`; adding/removing a Rust dependency; setting up a Rust CLI, server, async trait, mock, or logging subscriber; a `cargo run` / `cargo test` invocation that needs environment variables in front of it; user asks about Rust tooling, deps, traits, async, clippy, or rustfmt in this repo. SKIP when: pure Python/Helm/Docker/CI work with no Rust file touched and the user isn't asking about Rust. For the HTTP stack itself (axum, aide, Scalar, OpenAPI, validator) load `rust-http-conventions` alongside this one.
