# agent-top

> htop for local coding agents. A terminal dashboard that reads the transcripts Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and OpenCode already write, and the process table the OS already keeps, and shows every session in one place: what each is doing, its tokens and cost, and which helper processes it has left behind.

agent-top is a single Rust binary, MIT licensed, source at https://github.com/kannandreams/agent-top. It is read-only: it never signals, restarts or configures an agent, and the only network calls it makes on its own carry none of the user's data (a daily version check, disabled with `AGENT_TOP_NO_UPDATE_CHECK=1`).
