## What it does

BrandDocs turns an existing company Word, PowerPoint, or Excel template into a
reusable Brand Profile, then generates new on-brand documents from the original
template shell.

Unlike generic AI document generators, BrandDocs does not freely imitate a
template. It extracts the template's styles, layouts, named ranges, colors,
structure, formulas, and reusable components. Generation resolves typed content
through those extracted artifacts, and verification fails when a profile points
to anything the template does not define. Rich objects are authored natively and
on-brand by construction: charts (Word, PowerPoint and Excel), SmartArt-style
diagrams (Word and PowerPoint), and tables with merged cells.

An optional model-driven comprehension step reads a bounded summary of the
template and records what each structure is for, including recurring layouts the
model proposes as reusable component/section fragments. Those proposals are
validated fail-closed and stored in the Brand Profile so later documents reuse
them; the model can never widen the brand guarantee.

## Supported skills

- brand-docx: generate branded Word documents, reports, memos, and letters from
  a .docx template; every block type renders natively, including charts, diagrams,
  and a real updateable table of contents.
- brand-pptx: generate branded PowerPoint decks from real slide masters and
  layouts in a .pptx template, with native charts, diagrams and merged tables.
- brand-xlsx: fill Excel named cells and regions while preserving formulas in
  an .xlsx template, applying the template's own number formats to a cell's
  semantic intent (currency, percent, date, ...).
