# Google Health MCP
Unofficial local-first Google Health API v4 MCP server for AI health, sleep and activity agents.
Repository: https://github.com/davidmosiah/google-health-mcp
Homepage: https://wellness.delx.ai/connectors/google-health
NPM: https://www.npmjs.com/package/google-health-mcp-unofficial
Primary command: npm exec --yes --package=google-health-mcp-unofficial -- google-health-mcp-server doctor
MCP command: google-health-mcp-server
- MCP registry name: io.github.davidmosiah/google-health-mcp
- Status: beta while Google Health API v4 evolves; check official release notes because scopes and data types can change.
- Current beta ask: testers with Fitbit, Pixel Watch, Android and Google Health API access should report setup friction and data type gaps.
- For beta setup reports, run google-health-mcp-server support --feedback --json and paste the anonymous bundle into issue #4.
- For data coverage reports, run google-health-mcp-server coverage --json for a static plan, then google-health-mcp-server coverage --live --json after OAuth. Live coverage is read-only and redacted.
- Start agents with google_health_connection_status and google_health_data_inventory.
- Read-only default tools: identity, profile, settings, list data points, reconcile, dailyRollUp, rollUp, daily summary, weekly summary.
- OAuth env: GOOGLE_HEALTH_CLIENT_ID, GOOGLE_HEALTH_CLIENT_SECRET, GOOGLE_HEALTH_REDIRECT_URI.
- Tokens stay local under ~/.google-health-mcp/tokens.json and should never be printed.
- Authorization boundary: Google OAuth scopes protect upstream data; the local MCP process does not provide per-user, per-agent, API-key or per-tool RBAC. Do not expose HTTP publicly without an authenticated gateway and isolated per-user Google credentials. Details: https://github.com/davidmosiah/google-health-mcp/blob/main/docs/authorization.md
- Not medical advice. Use as trend context only.
