# Agent Configuration and Generic Rules

Always consult these locations for development guidelines:

1. Primary Configuration
  - **`AGENTS.md`** (root) - Main source of truth for all development rules and agent configuration
  - Contains core development rules, architecture overview, and workflow guidelines
2. Generic Rules (Tool-Agnostic)
  - **`.agents/`** directory contains generic rules applicable across all AI tools

## Precedence

When multiple rules apply:
1. User's explicit instructions (highest priority)
2. `AGENTS.md` and `.agents/` rules
3. `.cursor/rules/` specific rules
4. Default behavior (lowest priority)

**IMPORTANT:** Always check `AGENTS.md` at the start of any task for project-specific guidelines, architecture, and conventions.
