Determine whether an existing migration can change and implement corrective migrations safely.
We split this skill into the rules it gives an agent
1 rule. About 0 are common, 0 are distinctive, and 1 is very specific to this project.

Tied to their project's names, files or tools. Probably skip.

Treat migrations merged to main as immutable, even when deployment status is unknown.
≈ “Common” is an estimate: at least 1 in 5 of the 308,232 skill files we read have a rule of the same kind, not the same words. “Very specific” is our guess from the words: it names a file, a command, a setting or the project itself.

Migration immutability
Applied migrations cannot be rewritten: golang-migrate skips applied versions.
Treat migrations merged to main as immutable, even when deployment status is
unknown. Check the creation commit's reachability from origin/main (or
main when unavailable), not merely whether the file has local commit history.
Merged history is a conservative boundary, not proof of deployment. Missing
or shallow history is inconclusive; resolve it before declaring a file editable.
A new, unmerged migration can be revised in its feature branch unless it is known to have been deployed. Do not delete or renumber immutable migrations.
For an immutable migration, implement the requested correction in a new pair
using cd server && just db-migration-new <name>. Include both up and down
files and follow the generation skill to select
and run the root generation command after schema/query changes. This is the
normal way to complete a schema fix, not a reason to stop at proposing one.

Your trail
Files you open will collect here, so you can find them again.
Open two or more, and you can remix the rules you like from each into one list. Kept in this browser only.
Now do this for your own.
Bring your CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md or skills. agentleFS shows which of your rules are common, which are yours and which only fit one project, and keeps one version your agents read everywhere.
