# Special Education Due Process Complaint Writer

> A free AI plugin and skill for Claude (Chat, Cowork and Claude Code) and ChatGPT (the desktop app and Codex) that writes an IDEA special education due process complaint from a child's IEP, school documents and other important information, for any US state and the District of Columbia. It reads the IEPs, evaluations, prior written notices, progress reports, service logs and emails; confirms the facts with the person filing; confirms the state's filing details on its official filing page and looks up the school district's office and address on the district's own website; lets the person choose the claims and relief; drafts the complaint as a pleading; checks that every date, figure and quotation is in the documents or the person's own words and that every element 34 C.F.R. § 300.508(b) requires is there; reviews the draft for errors; and delivers it as a PDF to file and a Word file to edit. It is for special education attorneys, legal aid organizations, advocates and parents. It is not legal advice and says nothing about how a complaint will fare.
