Pairfob is a free, open-source (Apache-2.0) phone and browser remote for the coding agents (Claude Code, Codex CLI, Grok and others) running on your macOS or Linux computer. > Pairfob is a free, open-source (Apache-2.0) phone and browser remote for the coding agents (Claude Code, Codex CLI, Grok and others) running on your macOS or Linux computer. Sessions run in Herdr, which the installer sets up automatically. Pair once by QR code; no phone app required, no Pairfob account, no VPN, no inbound ports. Key facts:
- Host: macOS or Linux with Herdr 0.8+ (the installer automatically installs the latest stable Herdr if missing); the Herdr plugin route and agent inspection need Herdr 0.8.2+. Windows hosts: not supported.
- Client: any modern mobile browser (iOS Safari, Android Chrome); installable to the Home Screen as a PWA. No App Store app; the optional Android beta is a sideloaded APK.
- Same live session, not a copy: approve commands, reply (incl. dictation), review diffs, get "Needs you" push notifications.
- Agents: install and sign in to your chosen AI agent separately on the host; Pairfob does not install agents or configure their accounts. After pairing, Terminal works without an agent. A browser on the host itself can also pair.
- Install: `curl -fsSL https://pairfob.com/install.sh | sh && pairfob pair`, then open https://pairfob.com/pair on the phone and scan. Or inside Herdr 0.8.2+: `herdr plugin install arronKler/pairfob`.
- Price: free. Source: https://github.com/arronKler/pairfob

Files you open will collect here, so you can find them again.

Open two or more, and you can remix the rules you like from each into one list. Kept in this browser only.

Now do this for your own.

Bring your CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md or skills. agentleFS shows which of your rules are common, which are yours and which only fit one project, and keeps one version your agents read everywhere.
