We split this AGENTS.md into the rules it gives an agent
4 rules. About 0 are common, 1 is distinctive, and 3 are very specific to this project.
≈0
Common · estimate
Many files like this have a rule of this kind.
≈1
Distinctive · estimate
This author's own choices. Worth a look.
3
Very specific
Tied to their project's names, files or tools. Probably skip.
- Common
- Distinctive
- Very specific
- Distinctive: line 5
Use current source and user-approved decisions.
- Very specific: line 7
Keep project instructions concise.
- Very specific: line 21
Read PROJECT_MEMORY.md for the origin story, Google bridge constraint, release history, user feedback, and current technical findings.
- Very specific: line 23
Run scripts/verify-android-build.sh for local Android build verification.
≈ “Common” is an estimate: at least 1 in 5 of the 36,368 AGENTS.md files we read have a rule of the same kind, not the same words. “Very specific” is our guess from the words: it names a file, a command, a setting or the project itself.

Working agreement
- Work directly with the user; use other agents only when explicitly requested.
- Use current source and user-approved decisions; do not import previous Claude notes.
- Preserve existing uncommitted work unless the user requests changes to it.
- Keep project instructions concise; maintain substantial shared context in PROJECT_MEMORY.md. Distinguish verified facts from proposals.
Verified facts
- Shared Go engine, desktop browser interface, Android Kotlin VPN client.
- Desktop relays HTTP requests; Android tunnels TCP through Apps Script and an exit relay.
- Existing local Android changes include manual profile entry and a clearer notification.
Current state
- The last full Go suite passed on October 11, 2026; subsequent quota-classification changes passed targeted tunnel/Apps Script tests. Rerun the full suite for a release.
- Android 9/14 passed current connection/quota lifecycle tests. Earlier real Cloudflare/VPS checks passed; current-build live recovery and Iran filtering remain unverified. S25 has the updated APK and its notice was inspected; user-reported handover is separate from automated proof. See TEST_RESULTS.md for current status and historical evidence.
- Android socket protection now stops a dial when protection fails and logs a clear error. Regression tests cover failure, success, and callback clearing. Emulator behavior passed; physical socket-failure coverage remains pending.
- Expand this context with decisions agreed with the user.
Shared memory
- Read PROJECT_MEMORY.md for the origin story, Google bridge constraint, release history, user feedback, and current technical findings.
- Run scripts/verify-android-build.sh for local Android build verification; use RELEASE_CHECKLIST.md for remaining real-service checks.
Where files are headingNew AGENTS.md files have more rules about keeping secrets out of the code, and fewer about code style.
Of the AGENTS.md files we read, the 28,693 first seen in the last six months, against the older ones: the kind of rule that gained most share, and the kind that lost most. About files like this in general, not this one, and an estimate, since a kind is a pattern in the words.

Your trail
Files you open will collect here, so you can find them again.
Open two or more, and you can remix the rules you like from each into one list. Kept in this browser only.
Now do this for your own.
Bring your CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md or skills. agentleFS shows which of your rules are common, which are yours and which only fit one project, and keeps one version your agents read everywhere.
