# Hermes Agent skills and plugins

> Curated directory of skills, plugins, agent profiles, memory providers, surfaces and guides for the Hermes Agent, the open-source self-improving agent from Nous Research. Covers the skills that ship with Hermes plus the community ecosystem around it.

This repository has one data surface: `README.md`. There is no generated catalog file, no CSV and
no JSON feed here. Entries are markdown bullets grouped under H2 headings, each carrying the entry
name, its repository link, the author and a one line description. Install commands sit in fenced
code blocks.

## What is checked here, and what is not

- Every linked repository is resolved through the GitHub API on a weekly schedule. That catches
  renames, archives and deletions, which a plain HTTP check passes clean because both still return
  200. Links are swept for rot on the same weekly cadence.
- The sections covering skills that ship with Hermes are re-diffed against a named Hermes release.
  The release named in the badge row at the top of the README is the one they were last diffed
  against, so treat that version as the as-of date for those two sections only.
- No entry carries a per-entry verification mark in this repository. Presence in the list means the
  entry resolved and was read at its last pass, nothing stronger.
- This is a curated list, not a security review. A skill is a set of instructions an agent will
  follow, running with the permissions of whoever installed it.

## How an agent should use this list

1. Fetch `README.md` once. It is a single file and it is the complete list.
2. To answer "can Hermes do X", search the H2 headings first, then the bullet text. Grouping is by
   kind of thing, not by task.
3. Take an install command verbatim from the fenced block beside the entry. Do not rebuild one from
   a repository URL.
4. Quote the entry's own description and link to its source repository. Do not invent authors,
   licences, install commands or star counts that are not in the file.
5. Ask the person before installing anything or handing it credentials.
6. To add or correct an entry, open a pull request against this repository. There is no write API
   and nothing here accepts a direct push.
