Any change to the skill — skills/hands-on-deck/SKILL.md, deck.py, the docs it ships, or its behavior — must bump the version in the same PR. Two files carry it and they move together: (Leave marketplace.json's top-level metadata.version alone — that's the marketplace's own version, not the plugin's.) Follow semver and the existing commit convention: Commit message format: hands-on-deck X.Y.Z: <one-line summary of the change>.
We split this CLAUDE.md into the rules it gives an agent
2 rules. About 0 are common, 1 is distinctive, and 1 is very specific to this project.

≈1

This author's own choices. Worth a look.

≈ “Common” is an estimate: at least 1 in 5 of the 25,680 CLAUDE.md files we read have a rule of the same kind, not the same words. “Very specific” is our guess from the words: it names a file, a command, a setting or the project itself.

Bump the version on every change to the skill
Any change to the skill — skills/hands-on-deck/SKILL.md, deck.py, the docs it ships, or its behavior — must bump the version in the same PR. Two files carry it and they move together:
.claude-plugin/plugin.json→version.claude-plugin/marketplace.json→plugins[0].version
(Leave marketplace.json's top-level metadata.version alone — that's the marketplace's own version, not the plugin's.)
Follow semver and the existing commit convention:
- Patch (
3.0.1→3.0.2) — guidance tweaks, small fixes, doc changes. - Minor (
3.0.0→3.1.0) — new capabilities or commands. - Major — breaking changes to the CLI or patch format.
Commit message format: hands-on-deck X.Y.Z: <one-line summary of the change>.

Your trail
Files you open will collect here, so you can find them again.
Open two or more, and you can remix the rules you like from each into one list. Kept in this browser only.
Now do this for your own.
Bring your CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md or skills. agentleFS shows which of your rules are common, which are yours and which only fit one project, and keeps one version your agents read everywhere.
