# DojoGenesis Plugins

## What this is

The canonical first-party skill collection for the Dojo Genesis platform. Each plugin is a directory containing skills in SKILL.md format with YAML frontmatter that defines metadata, trigger conditions, and usage guidance. Skills are active cognitive scaffolds — structured methodologies that guide AI agents through complex decisions, not passive documentation. The collection is quality-gated and designed to work with the Dojo MCP Server and Claude Code.

## Clusters

12 behavioral clusters cross-cut the 11 plugins — skills grouped by what they
*do*, not just which plugin ships them. Every registered skill's `category:`
frontmatter is one of these 12 ids (enforced by `scripts/plugin-lint.py`).
Flags: **DUP** = near-duplicate of another member (see README's twin-skill
table for the boundary between them), **MISFILED** = the skill's function
belongs to this cluster even though its plugin doesn't, **X** = the skill's
function legitimately spans plugins.

**These flags are descriptive, not a to-do list.** A MISFILED or DUP skill is
grouped by its `category:` metadata and these tables — it is deliberately NOT
physically relocated. Moving a skill to "fix" its cluster changes its invoke
name (`plugin:skill`) and breaks every caller, so cluster membership is carried
by metadata, never by directory location. (This was tried once — moving
`mcp-builder` and `supply-chain-refresh` into `skill-forge` — and reverted for
exactly this reason; they stay in `system-health`.)

## Skill format

Each skill lives at `plugins/{plugin-name}/skills/{skill-name}/SKILL.md` with YAML frontmatter containing:
- `name`, `description` — what the skill is and when to use it
- `category` — one of the 12 cluster ids (enforced by `scripts/plugin-lint.py`)
- `model` — recommended Claude model (sonnet/opus split)
- `inputs` / `outputs` — the skill's typed input/output contract
- Full workflow steps as markdown

## How to use with LLMs

Install via the Dojo MCP Server (`DOJO_SKILLS_PATH` pointing to this repo). Use `dojo.list_skills` to browse by plugin, `dojo.search_skills` to find by keyword, and `dojo.invoke_skill` to load any skill. For Claude Code directly, install the plugins package and reference skills via `.mcp.json` configuration.

Community skills live in `plugins/community-skills/` — 597 harvested
SKILL.md files, dormant-by-design: not a registered marketplace plugin, a
supply promoted individually into the plugins above once proven.
