Use when changing, debugging, or validating the Configuration Report PowerPoint export in report/pptx-export.js. Covers browser-side, from-scratch OOXML package generation, report integration, slide content and layout, media, relationships, and PPTX validation.
We split this skill into the rules it gives an agent
7 rules. About 0 are common, 4 are distinctive, and 3 are very specific to this project.

≈ “Common” is an estimate: at least 1 in 5 of the 308,232 skill files we read have a rule of the same kind, not the same words. “Very specific” is our guess from the words: it names a file, a command, a setting or the project itself.

Configuration Report PowerPoint Export
Use this guidance when changing the Configuration Report PowerPoint export in report/pptx-export.js or its report-page integration.
Architecture
- The exporter builds a
.pptxpackage from scratch as OOXML in the browser. It does not load or modify a.potxtemplate. report/pptx-export.jsowns the presentation theme, slide master, slide layout, content types, relationships, slide XML, media, and package assembly.SECTION_PLANis the source of truth for which report sections become slides and how they are rendered.- The exporter uses JSZip from the vendored PptxGenJS browser bundle to assemble the package. Do not add a CDN or runtime dependency.
- Images and diagrams are fetched only from same-origin repository assets. Keep export functional for local/offline use.
- The generated deck uses its own dark visual treatment. The report page's light/dark theme does not select a PowerPoint theme.
Integration Boundaries
report/report.jsexposes report data and rendering bridges through the existingwindow.__odin*globals consumed by the exporter.- Preserve those bridges unless both producer and consumer are updated together with regression coverage.
- Keep section ordering and availability aligned with the HTML report. Test both HCI and disaggregated designs when shared report behavior changes.
- Keep the export browser-only and compatible with the repository's classic global-script architecture. Do not introduce modules, a bundler, or server-side generation.
Editing Guidance
- Change layout, typography, colors, and OOXML structures in
report/pptx-export.js; there is no external presentation template to edit. - Reuse the existing XML builders, relationship helpers, and style constants. Add a helper only when it removes repeated package-building logic.
- Escape all user-derived text through the existing XML escaping path before inserting it into OOXML.
- Keep relationship IDs, part names, content types, and package paths internally consistent. A deck that downloads successfully can still be invalid OOXML.
- Maintain the vendored bundle version and SHA-256 record in
report/vendor/README.md. Do not hand-edit the minified bundle.
Validation
Run the focused checks after exporter changes:
npx eslint "report/*.js"
npx html-validate "report/report.html"
node scripts/smoke-test-pptx.js
npx playwright test --config=tools\playwright.config.js generate-disagg-fc-deck.spec.jsThen run the complete repository suite:
node scripts/run-tests.js
npm run test:httpInspect at least one generated HCI deck and one disaggregated deck when slide content, ordering, rendering, or media changes. Confirm that PowerPoint opens the file without a repair warning and that text, diagrams, and footers fit their slide bounds.
Report package generation, ZIP/XML/content checks, and native PowerPoint visual inspection as separate outcomes. If PowerPoint is unavailable, mark that check blocked, not passed, and leave the generated deck for manual inspection. The demo configuration is headed and records video; it is not a substitute for the headless smoke test. Install its matching browser only after a missing-browser failure, and keep generated videos/decks out of commits.
Repository Workflow
Follow ../release-readiness/SKILL.md, including README and in-app What's New
coverage when adding user-visible changes without another version bump.
- Work directly on the long-lived
Releasebranch. - The only pull request direction is
Releasetomain; do not create a feature branch. - Record user-visible export changes under the current release in
CHANGELOG.md. - Update
ODIN_VERSIONonly for an application release. PowerPoint export changes do not have a separate version constant.

How matches are found. Word for word: the exact same text. Edited: shares passages with this file (“99% same” means 99% of its five-word phrases also appear here; 10% or more counts). Their own version: similar meaning, or, weakest, the same name. We can’t tell which project had it first. Projects are counted among the 200 most-starred candidates, and mentions are links to the repository we found, up to 50 per site, so both counts are a floor.

Your trail
Files you open will collect here, so you can find them again.
Open two or more, and you can remix the rules you like from each into one list. Kept in this browser only.
Now do this for your own.
Bring your CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md or skills. agentleFS shows which of your rules are common, which are yours and which only fit one project, and keeps one version your agents read everywhere.
