# Code Style Rules
## Hard limits
- Max file size: 300 lines → split if exceeded
- Max function size: 30 lines → split if exceeded
- One function = one job only
## Naming
- Meaningful names only. No: x, tmp, foo, data, stuff
- Comment WHY not WHAT
## Error handling
- Every external call (API, DB, file I/O) → must have error handling
- Never swallow errors silently
## Forbidden
- Hardcoded credentials or secrets
- print/console.log in production paths (use logging)
- TODO comments in code (use TASKS.md instead)
