neuro-matrix

A Claude Code plugin (harness) that keeps AI-assisted coding anchored to common sense and reality — an anti-"neuroslop" AI + developer co-system. It contributes runtime invariants with a randomized per-turn self-check, deterministic hooks (cycle-detector, approval gate, verification gate), five agents (developer, analyzer, critic, epistemic-auditor, translator), and a held-out evaluation harness. Designed under game theory (Nash-style cooperative equilibrium) and systems theory.

# neuro-matrix > A Claude Code plugin (harness) that keeps AI-assisted coding anchored to common sense and reality — an anti-"neuroslop" AI + developer co-system. It contributes runtime invariants with a randomized per-turn self-check, deterministic hooks (cycle-detector, approval gate, verification gate), five agents (developer, analyzer, critic, epistemic-auditor, translator), and a held-out evaluation harness. Designed under game theory (Nash-style cooperative equilibrium) and systems theory. ## Core protocol - [CLAUDE.md](https://github.com/AlexShchuka/neuro-matrix/blob/main/CLAUDE.md): the operating protocol — focus goal (common sense + reality), hard prohibitions, mutation/mental-model/halt gates, epistemic boundary, request routing. - [invariants.txt](https://github.com/AlexShchuka/neuro-matrix/blob/main/invariants.txt): the runtime invariants, each with risk + deontic tags and a Counter clause; one is sampled per turn as a self-check. - [README.md](https://github.com/AlexShchuka/neuro-matrix/blob/main/README.md): why, on what concepts, how to work as a team, and what the project is for. - [ROADMAP.md](https://github.com/AlexShchuka/neuro-matrix/blob/main/ROADMAP.md): the backlog of record and the reserved strategic layer. ## Agents (the co-system roles) - [agents/developer.md](https://github.com/AlexShchuka/neuro-matrix/blob/main/agents/developer.md): code mutator — the only agent that writes code, runs builds/tests, and pushes. - [agents/analyzer.md](https://github.com/AlexShchuka/neuro-matrix/blob/main/agents/analyzer.md): system investigator — RCA, design, review, dead-end diagnostics. - [agents/critic.md](https://github.com/AlexShchuka/neuro-matrix/blob/main/agents/critic.md): anti-neuroslop reviewer — the approval gate before output lands. - [agents/epistemic-auditor.md](https://github.com/AlexShchuka/neuro-matrix/blob/main/agents/epistemic-auditor.md): separates confirmed from associative claims; developer-side mutual-doubt checks. - [agents/translator.md](https://github.com/AlexShchuka/neuro-matrix/blob/main/agents/translator.md): codebook translator — codebook A↔D, RU↔EN for AI-facing files, session condensation, abstraction-ladder rewrite. ## Hooks and scripts - [hooks/hooks.json](https://github.com/AlexShchuka/neuro-matrix/blob/main/hooks/hooks.json): event wiring for the operational gates. - [scripts/verification-gate.sh](https://github.com/AlexShchuka/neuro-matrix/blob/main/scripts/verification-gate.sh): post-execution verification gate (machine-checkable evidence before commit). - [scripts/random-invariant.sh](https://github.com/AlexShchuka/neuro-matrix/blob/main/scripts/random-invariant.sh): risk-weighted per-turn invariant sampler. ## Evaluation - [eval/criteria.md](https://github.com/AlexShchuka/neuro-matrix/blob/main/eval/criteria.md): the 18-criterion binary rubric. - [eval/run_suite.py](https://github.com/AlexShchuka/neuro-matrix/blob/main/eval/run_suite.py): A/B harness over plugin calibrations. - [references/research-anchors.md](https://github.com/AlexShchuka/neuro-matrix/blob/main/references/research-anchors.md): catalogued academic sources behind the protocol.
